Odds and Insects is dedicated to creating and providing high-quality insect art and specimen displays to those with an appreciation for decor that's just a bit less than conventional. Many of these displays have been sold locally and on Etsy since early 2023 with a 5.0 rating for item quality and customer service. They are now available to be purchased wholesale and are currently being sold in gift, nature, and curiosity shops across the US.

Legal, Ethical, and Safe

Odds and Insects does not deal with any endangered, threatened, or protected species. All specimens are procured responsibly from reputable sources under the oversight of CITES (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) to ensure sustainable raising and collection practices, and their importation into the US is overseen and inspected by customs agents and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.

Each specimen is guaranteed safe to handle and display – they have been carefully cleaned, dried, and preserved so that they will last a very long time.

 

Shipping, Refunds, and Returns

Free shipping! Carrier costs have already been accounted for, so the price you see is your final cost.

Minimum order quantity is typically $500 -- currently reduced to $250 through January 25th.

Displays are made to order. Orders are shipped from southern Indiana within 5 days of placement, using trackable UPS ground shipping with insurance in order to provide protection against possible loss or damage during transport.

Precautions are taken when mounting and packaging the displays to ensure their safe delivery, but given the fragile nature of some of these items, it's possible that damage may occur during shipment. If this is ever the case, please retain all items and packaging, and send a message as soon as possible so that timely replacements, refund, or suggestions on how to perform simple repairs can be provided.

Odds and Insects will also accept displays returned in their original condition for replacements or store credit. Please contact oddsandinsects@gmail.com to make an arrangement for return shipping.
